Oh be still my thank-you-note-loving heart!! I have just found an ENTIRE BLOG dedicated to thank you notes. Leah Dieterich of thx thx thx used to write one a day...or every so often as you see from the post dates... as an exercise in gratitude. She writes to the little things in life to thank them for their impact. It's a perspective we should all get on board with.
