Gowanus Girls Market

Last weekend, my sister-in-law, 2 nieces & myself ventured down to Gowanus Grove to check out the 2nd weekend of Gowanus Girls - a new market put on by Curious Jane - an after-school & summer camp program promoting young girls & creativity.

It was super cool! My seller friends Jackie from LoveJac & Sarah from Love of Pretty were both there. The weather was kind of icky as the first signs of Hurricane Sandy started rolling in, but the spot is adorable. Check it out...

K. Batty + An Etsy Artist Assembly

{Jason finishing set up while Mr. B "helps"}

BIG NEWS!! I am a vendor at the Dekalb Market!

This announcement on the blog is long over due. My bad. Along with 6 other members of my Etsy Street team, the NewNew, I am one part of container 27/28 - An Etsy Artist Assembly.

The market is open 7 days a week, from now (just last weekend, actually) through the December holidays. Our container has a home goods spin - pillows by Ilka of Ilara Design, air plant & terrariums by Zsuzsanna of Roots in Rust, photography, by Kelley of Kelley Gudahl Photography, fabulous leather goods & funky dish towels by Lauren of LolaFalk, jewelry by Melissa of Be In The Moment & amazing lamps by Jason of Merrimack and Monitor.

Come by any time between 11 & 7, Monday through Friday! If you want to catch me, in the flesh, Tuesday is my "work" day. Directions are on the Dekalb website. Also, check out our shops Facebook page here.

Spring is going to be big for K Batty Design & Stationery. Can't you feel it?!

My First Craft Fair. EVER!

View Larger Map

This Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. I will be at my very first craft fair. The P.S. 8 PTA is holding their First Annual Craft Fair at their school in Brooklyn Heights, on Hicks Street between Poplar & Middagh. See map above! It's easy to get to from pretty much anywhere in the city since all major trains stop somewhere in Brooklyn Heights.

I'll be selling lots of holiday cards (sets & individuals), monogrammed cards for gifts, thank you note sets. Plenty of things to choose from if you need to round out your Christmas shopping or find a hostess gift. I'll also be taking custom orders which will be delivered in time for the holidays! Come see me!!

I have no idea what other vendors will be there except for my girlfriend who I'm sharing the table with. She makes adorable diaper animals for baby showers. They are selling like hot cakes.

Hope you'll stop by!
