Good news/Bad news

The bad news first: Dekalb Market is closing.

Yes, the super cool shipping container market that my cards have learned to call home has been told that it's lease will be ended early by the developer who owns the lot. We were supposed to reside here until December 31, but instead will close in October.

The good news: We're reopening! Somewhere else.

Well, that is what our landlord, Urban Space, is saying at the moment. The plan is to find another, more permanent place for our lovely containers. Move us all there in October & reopen within a few weeks.

For now, our shop - An Etsy Artist Assembly - is in for the move. But, to be honest, I am not confident that US will pull off the move as seamlessly as they would like us to believe. Plus, will we even want to participate in the new location?

What you need to know for now: We are still open 7 days a week, 11-7pm. Come see us!

Do you like An Etsy Artist Assembly on Facebook? Check our page for sales & events still happening at the market!

Stay tuned! That is the news to now! Thanks to everyone who has supported my experiment in retail/markets! This has been a challenging & über rewarding experience thus far.
